Nobody can argue that the main event of UFC 195 last night (Sat., Jan. 2, 2016) inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, was a war that delighted mixed martial arts (MMA) fans and brought the crowd to its feet both in the stands and watching at home.

What is debatable, however, is who actually won the fight between Welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and challenger Carlos Condit.

According to, most mainstream MMA media (including this one) scored it for Condit. But, the judges who were sitting ringside saw it the other way:

As you can see from the scorecard, all three judges gave the first and fourth round to Carlos Condit, and the second and fifth round to Robbie Lawler.

It was the third round that ultimately swayed the scores in this one, with both Derek Cleary and Chris Lee seeing that one for the champion, while only Tony Weeks scored it for the challenger.

According to it was a round that Condit doubled up on Lawler in significant strikes, however it was clear that one person landed more "Ruthless" strikes. Condit nearly broke FightMetric last night, landing 176 of 495 significant strike attempts, to Lawler's 92 of 177.
