I don't know how long this video may survive before a DMCA claim but... UFC women's bantamweight fighter Ronda Rousey officially took the time during her opening monologue on Saturday Night Live to offer congratulations to Holly Holm, who defeated her at UFC 193 on Nov. 15, 2015.
The quote for those who can't play the video:
This is the first time I'm talking to my fans since I lost to Holly Holm in November -- which by the way was a fight Holly deserved to win and I just wanted to take a minute and sincerely congratulate her.
And it only took nine weeks to decide!
What didn't take nine weeks was Rousey's agreement to host SNL. The offer apparently arrived shortly after her UFC 193 loss, one she accepted despite reeling from her first career MMA defeat.
As a Canadian I didn't watch, nor do I have (legal) access to SNL. Any Americans catch it last night? Thoughts?
