CM Punk's first UFC opponent, Micky Gall, confirmed ... with a catch

Sometimes, all you have to do is speak up.

Mickey Gall -- who is undefeated (3-0) in his professional mixed martial arts (MMA) career -- took to the mic during a recent episode of White's "Lookin' for a Fight" series (see it), declaring that he'd love to be the one to welcome CM Punk into the Octagon.

The bold move -- coupled with a win -- not only earned Gall an Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contract, but a potential fight against one of the most popular, and now former, WWE wrestlers of this generation.

And according to White's comments to TSN's Off The Record (via FOX Sports), Gall has already been booked to face fellow newcomer Michael Jackson at UFC 196 on Feb. 6, 2016, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Should get the win, Punk will be next:

"I'm bringing Mickey Gall in and he's gonna fight a kid named Michael Jackson, they're going to fight on the prelims on Feb. 6 on Fight Pass and if he wins that fight, Mickey Gall will fight CM Punk and CM Punk will be there at the fight to watch. He's holding a lottery ticket with really good odds of winning the lottery right now. He's got to get through this fight and yeah, it's going to be a life changer for this kid."

Speaking of lottery ...

White didn't confirm whether or not Jackson will be afforded the same opportunity against Punk should he flip the script and take Gall out in "Sin City."

As for Punk -- real name Phil Brooks -- fans have been itching to see the former WWE star make his Octagon debut since announcing his move to MMA over a year ago. Now, his much-anticipated debut is one step closer from actually going down.

Anyone expect more "butt-hurt dummies" to surface after this highly-interesting revelation?
