Latest UFC rankings update: Demetrious Johnson unseats Chris Weidman on pound-for-pound list

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White suggested that reigning flyweight titleholder Demetrious Johnson may be the top pound-for-pound fighter in all of mixed martial arts (MMA), when you consider what he did to John Dodson at the UFC 191 pay-per-view (PPV) event last Sat. night (Sept. 5, 2015) in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The official rankings committee is not convinced.

While current featherweight champion Jose Aldo still lays claim to the top spot, "Mighty Mouse" did inch his way up to the No. 2 slot, unseating middleweight kingpin Chris Weidman in the process. Also doing work at UFC 191 -- and moving up in the rankings -- were John Lineker (bantamweight) and Paige VanZant (women's strawweight), among others.
