Bellator MMA, GLORY kickboxing to hold simultaneous 'Prelims' fights on Sept. 19

When Bellator MMA and GLORY kickboxing announced their joint "Dynamite 1" card on Sept. 19, 2015 in San Jose, Calif., mixed martial arts (MMA) fans had two important questions that weren't immediately answered.

1. How would the arena fit an MMA cage and GLORY ring side by side?

2. Would simultaneous fights take place?

It wasn't long before an artist's rendering answered the first question, and the sports world recently got its answer to the second.

Bellator and GLORY confirmed it will hold simultaneous preliminary fights prior to the Spike TV telecast, with action taking place in both combat areas at the same time, to accommodate an abundant 20 fights scheduled for the SAP Center.

Fear not true believers, the "main card" and all title fights will still be held one at a time to allow for maximum eyeball focus on the cable television network. Live attendees for the early bouts, however, will have divided loyalties.
