It took more than two years of constant trash-talking -- at least on behalf of John Dodson -- but "The Magician" finally got his opportunity to punch Flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson in the face again last night (Sat., Sept. 5, 2015) in the main event of UFC 191 inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

But, you can't hit what you can't catch.

Once again, Johnson demonstrated that he is the fastest, most technical mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter on the planet. And there might not even be a close second. It's certainly not Dodson, who once again talked a great talk, but failed to walk the walk, fading late -- again -- and dropping a unanimous decision -- again -- to "Mighty Mouse."

Johnson is just so much better at the speed and athletic game than "The Magician," who was drilled consistently with a straight right hand and an insane amount of creative strikes up close. Dodson, perhaps the hardest puncher in the division, did score a flash knockdown in the second round, but Johnson didn't skip a beat.

In fact, like he always does, Johnson just got stronger as the fight got longer.

He set a ridiculous pace, even for his absurd standards, chaining together strikes with takedown attempts, which Dodson defended brilliantly for most of the fight. But, when things didn't go Johnson's way, he resorted to a ridiculous spinning back elbow to clean left hook that had Dodson bolting across the cage looking for and escape.

That's just one, very small, example -- it's like watching The Matrix.

Dodson, for once, didn't have any answers. Johnson completely flustered him and shut him down. And that's not to say Dodson fought poorly because he didn't. Johnson is just too good. So good, in fact, that he probably just schooled the second-best 125-pound fighter in the world.

And he made it look so easy.
