Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) held its UFC Fight Night 75 mixed martial arts (MMA) event last Saturday night (Sept. 26, 2015) inside Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan, and asked you, the fickle fight fan, to stay home and watch the festivities unfold on FOX Sports 1.
841,000 of you obliged, according to MMA Fighting.
That number -- which includes 542,000 within the target 18-49 demographic -- was slightly below the 882,000 average, but was also forced to contend with college football on FOX, ABC, ESPN, and ESPN 2, as well as Premier Boxing Champions on NBC.
The Josh Barnett vs. Roy Nelson heavyweight main event (watch it) peaked at 1,103,000, despite ending well after midnight, and the FOX Sports 2 "Prelims" (full recap here) outperformed expectations with an average of 270,000 fans tuning in.
