Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to the pay-per-view (PPV) market this Saturday night (Oct. 3, 2015) for its "Cormier vs. Gustafsson" mixed martial arts (MMA) event, which takes place inside Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, and features "Prelims" on FOX Sports 1 and UFC Fight Pass.
UFC 192 features light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier defending his 205-pound title against top-ranked contender Alexander Gustafsson. Elsewhere on the PPV fight card, former 205-pound champion Rashad Evans tangles with Ryan Bader.

Round 1: Magomedov fires a head kick to start as Jordan advances. Counter flurry from the Dagestani lands as he circles. Check hook by Ruslan and Jordan ties up. One minute in. Jordan pressing him against the cage. Ruslan reverses, Jordan reverses right back. He changes levels and gets Magomedov to his rear despite the latter grabbing the fence. Two minutes in. Round 2: Jordan tells his corner he might have a broken rib. That's not good.
Magomedov fires a Brazilian kick, the connects with a flurry of punches. Nice right hand by Jordan and he looks for an outside trip. Not there, so he presses the Dagestani against the fence and changes levels. Maomedov reverses position. One minute in. Combination from Magomedov, overhand right by Jordan. Jordan changes levels again on the fence. Elbows by Magomedov. Jordan hoists him up but can't finish it. Two minutes in. Magomedov turns him around and sneaks in an uppercut. Magomedov fires a head kick on the break and the toe catches Jordan's eye. Counter right by Magomedov, who offers Jordan a chance to pause. Magomedov with a leg kick. Two minutes to go.

Round 1: Both women swinging big right off the bat. They tie up and Pena looks for an inside trip. Eye gets double unders and Pena pulls guard. Eye on top in half guard. Pena works her way up and presses Eye against the fence. Eye looking for a guillotine in response. One minute in. Eye drops the headlock and reverses position. Knee to the body from Eye. Two minutes in. More knees to the body by Eye. Pena lands some knees of her own and a short right hand, tripping her down. Eye rolls through for the back, can't get it and eats some hard shots from Pena. They trade knees to the body on the feet. Two minutes to go.
Eye pressing her against the fence, lands a short elbow. Pena hits a throw into side control. Elbows form Pena. One minute to go. Eye avoiding too much damage, turns into her. Pena grabs the front headlock and moves towards the back until the bell. 10-9 Pena.
Round 2: Pena comes out aggressive and they wing shots until Eye ties up. She's pressing Pena against the cage. They separate before long. Head kick from Pena, counter punches by Eye. Eye catches a body kick and Pena pulls half guard. One minute in. Pena looking for deep half guard, Eye defending well. Two minutes in. Side control, now turtle position. Eye slips in a hook, transitions to an arm triangle from half guard. Two minutes to go.
Eye working to extract her leg and pass to side control, can't do so before she loses the grip. Pena tries to work her way up, gives up turtle position again. One minute to go. Eye falls back for a choke and concedes top position, giving Pena side control. Illegal knee by Eye from the back. The ref both deducts a point and restart the fight on the feet, neither of which make any sense. They swing and Eye lands a pair of massive counters before the bell. 9-9.
Round 3: Pena coming out aggressive, but running into counters. She shoots in and completes an outside trip into full guard. One minute in. Eye controlling Pena's posture. Pena looks to pass to side control and Eye looks for a McGeary-style triangle. Pena pulls her head free and takes Eye's back. Two minutes in. Pena looks like she's got the choke locked in, but Eye manages to roll into it and survive. Back to half guard for Pena. Two minutes to go.
Pena working her way back into half guard, can't maintain the position but lands some hard shots. Eye looking for a triangle, Pena stacks her and then pulls free. One minute to go. Pena looking for a topside guillotine, but does not have her hands clasped. She cranks until the bell but cannot finish. 10-9 Pena.
Final result: Pena def. Eye by unanimous decision

Round 1: Oblique kick from Rodriguez. Low kick lands for him. Another side kick to the shin. One minute in. He whiffs on a low kick, then trips Hooker up with a combination. Flying switch kick nearly connects. Two minutes in. Wheel kick miss. Spinning back kick to the body. Hooker catches a low kick and shoots in. Rodriguez fishing for a guillotine against the cage. Nice hip toss by Rodriguez directly into mount. Two minutes to go.
Hooker scrambles his way to his feet and nearly takes Rodriguez's back. Hooker pressing him against the fence. Yair tries to spin him down, settles for some good knees to the body. One minute to go. Yair tries another throw, settles for some more knees before separating. He tries a rolling thunder before the bell. 10-9 Rodriguez.
Round 2: Rodriguez tries a spinning back fist. Side kick and a nifty foot sweep. Hooker pops back up before Rodriguez can attack. Spinning elbow lands for "Pantera." Lead right by Hooker and they tie up. One minute in. Hooker pressing him against the fence. Rodriguez looks for a flying scissor takedown, shifts to a leg attack, and sweeps his way back to his feet. Low kick and high kick from Yair. Two minutes in. Hooker looks for a high kick, eats a somersault kick. Counter hook from Yair. Lead right hand, body kick both land. Hooker's exchanging with him but getting the worst of it. Two minutes to go.
Oblique kicks from Yair, then a side kick that nearly hits Hooker's face. Check hook by Rodriguez. Body kick lands for him. Hooker's looking to pressure, eats a right hand and glancing head kick. Rodriguez trips him down after catching a kick, nearly hits a throw near the cage. One minute to go. Hooker continuing to pressure and presses him against the fence. They separate and Yair slams home a spinning back kick to the body. Straight left by Hooker. Right hook lands for Rodriguez, then another body kick. Yair shoots in and completes a blast double on the fence before the bell. 10-9 Rodriguez.
Round 3: Wheel kick attempt from Rodriguez to start the round. He stops a takedown and they jockey in the clinch for a moment. Rodriguez takes a low blow, pausing the action. Right hook lands for Rodriguez, Hooker goes to the body in pursuit. Hooker stops a takedown, eats an uppercut and right hook. Makhachev raises his head up just in time to eat a hammerfist before the referee can step in.

Round 1: Namajunas firing her jab early. Right hand lands for her. Body shot and combination by Namajunas and they slug it out. Rose takes her to the fence in the clinch, can't hit a head-and-arm throw. Good knee in the plum from Hill before they separate. One minute in. 1-2 by Thug Rose. She's doing good work with her jab. Low kick by Hill. Rose hits a lovely takedown behind a right hand, landing in half guard. Hill manages to regain full guard. Two minutes in. Rose working to pass, Hill fighting it off with a knee shield. Hill gives up her back and Rose latches onto the RNC as Hill stands. Both hooks in and that is deep. Hill stumbles unconsciously to the mat, thankfully in less violent fashion than Jingliang Li last week, and Rose has the technical submission win.

Pettis slips back into half guard. One minute in. Cariaso doing a good job of stymieing guard passes. Cariaso uses the cage to stand and they separate. Cariaso threatens with a triangle, which allows Pettis to move to side control. Cariaso goes for a leg as Pettis looks for mount. One minute to go. Pettis standing as Cariaso works single-leg X guard. Pettis gets his leg free and stands over him, kicking his legs. He divies back into guard and drops some short shots until the bell. 10-9 Pettis.
Round 3: Low kick by Cariaso, Pettis catches it and takes top position. Pettis threatening a guillotine, nothing there. Cariaso makes it to his feet and an ill-advised guillotine attempt gives Cariaso top position. Sergio manages to stand and Cariaso falls to his back, sweeping Pettis quickly. One minute in. Cariaso on top in half guard, now full guard. Sergio whacks him with a nasty upkick and Cariaso goes back down into half guard. Pettis threatening a Kimura. He loses it and puts in a knee shield as Cariaso lands hammerfists. Short punches by "Kamikaze." Two minutes to go.
Pettis uses an underhook to regain full guard. Pettis throws his legs up, nothing there. One minute to go. Upkick lands for Sergio. Cariaso falls back for a heel hook. It looks nasty, but Sergio makes it to the bell. 10-9 Cariaso.

Round 1: Lewis flicks out a switch kick early. Lewis shoots in and drags Pesta to his knees. The Czech vet quickly pops up and grabs double underhooks, reversing position and stomping the bejeezus out of Lewis' feet. Pesta trips him down into side control. Lewis looking to control his posture and wrap up Pesta's arm. Knees to the body by Pesta, who snuffs out an attempt to buck free. Two minutes in. Lewis makes it to his feet and they scramble until Pesta plants him once again. Half guard, now side control for Pesta as Lewis looks for a Kimura from his back. Two minutes to go.
Lewis drops the arm and spins to his feet, giving up the seatbelt position. He manages to turn chest-to-chest, only to get tripped down to side control yet again. One minute to go. Lewis gives up his back on the way up and Pesta stays attached to him on the feet. Pesta gets the rear waistlock, then the bodylock as he presses Lewis against the cage. Lewis goes for an awkward throw but can't complete it. 10-9 Pesta.
Round 2: Hard straight right by Lewis after some extended circling. Pesta shoots in behind some wide swings and Lewis sprawls on it, landing some elbows. They jockey for position on the fence. One minute in. Another outside trip by Pesta, this time into half guard. Full guard now. Elbows by Pesta. Two minutes in. Lewis scooting some, but not making a major effort to stand. The ref obliges him and stands them up. Pesta ducks a pair of hard punches, changes levels, and takes Lewis down yet again. Two minutes to go.
Lewis trying to use the cage to stand, manages to do so. Pesta doing a good job of pressing Lewis against the fence. One minute to go. Lewis shoves him off and stuffs a takedown. Lewis storming after him as Pesta drives for a takedown. Pesta pulls guard and Lewis drops some hard shots until the bell. 10-9 Pesta.
Round 3: Pesta is clearly spent, and Lewis looks heavy on his feet as well. Pesta ducks under a right hand and shoots. Lewis manages to sprawl and Pesta pulls half guard. Lewis stands over him and blasts him with a riht hand. Lwis passes straight to side control and mount, dropping big shots on an exhausted Pesta until the referee steps in.
