Kyoji Horiguchi defeated Chico Camus last night (Sat. Sept., 26, 2015) at UFC Fight Night 75 in Saitama, Japan in a pivotal bout in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight division.
And it was an exciting one (full recap here).
Horiguchi imposed his will for the majority of the bout, controlling the pace and landing the better shots, dropping Camus to the ground in round two while always looking for a submission.
The Japanese-born fighter even cut Camus open, splitting him under his right eye, forcing the blood to roll down Chico's face, much to his chagrin. Chico was game, though, as he took shots to deliver his own, proving that he was determined to see the fight until the end.
When it was all said an done, the ringside judges' all scored the fight in Horiguchi's favor, much to the delight of the hometown crowd that filled the Saitama Super Arena. And just in case you missed the exciting scrap, take a peep at the highlights in the video embedded above.
