Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) woke mixed martial arts (MMA) fans up in the early morning hours in Saitama, Japan with an electric UFC Fight Night 75 card that took place inside Saitama Super Arena last night (Sat. Sept. 26, 2015).
Customary post-fight bonuses were doled out by UFC to four of the 20 fighters on last night's FOX Sports 1-televised fight card. Among those who captured a few extra bills for their efforts in the Octagon were Josh Barnett, Uriah Hall and Diego Brandao.
"The Warmaster" went toe-to-toe for 25 minutes (recap here) with "Big Country," trading kicks, haymakers and knees every which way the fight went. It was a thrilling performance for the ages.
Prior to the exciting main event, "Prime Time" shocked the world by separating (highlights here) the former Strikeforce Light Heavyweight champion Mousasi from his senses via a second-round, spinning back kick knockout.
Brandao trounced Katsunori Kikuno (highlights here) before their Featherweight frenzy ever really got started with a looping over hand right that planted the latter on the canvas.
Last, but not least, Keita Nakamura scored a come-from-behind, submission finish (highlights here) against Li Jingliang in round three of their FOX Sports 2 "Prelims" featured bout.
Overall, UFC produced a solid card filled with finishes and intense, drawn out wars for its yearly trip to Japan.
Here are the special UFC Fight Night 75 bonuses:
Performance of the Night --- Josh Barnett

Again, each fighter received $50,000 extra for their performances in addition to their respective base salaries, which we'll pass along if the information becomes available.
