Watch the incredible knockout finish for Hall over Mousasi right here -- HIGHLIGHTS!
"Prime Time" earned the biggest victory of his career in the co-main event at UFC Fight Night 75 last night (Sat., Sept. 26, 2015) in Saitama, Japan.
Uriah Hall finished Gegard Mousasi with incredible strikes to earn a technical knockout victory inside Saitama Super Arena, bringing the docile Japanese crowd to its collective feet.
Hall was badly out grappled in the opening round and nearly finished with a rear-naked choke attempt, but held on and survived the round.
As the second round began, Hall landed a spinning-back kick that landed on the button and it badly rocked the No. 6-ranked UFC Middleweight. From there, the Jamaican-born fighter somehow connected with a flying knee and then swarmed in and never let the Dutch veteran off the hook, pouring it on until referee Greg Kleynuans waved it off.
The official stoppage came at 0:25 of round two.
It was an incredible win by Hall, who until tonight had not earned a win against a top-ranked opponent. Hall will undoubtedly move into the Top 10 of the 185-pound rankings with the big upset victory. Mousasi falls to 37-62 overall and is now 4-3 in the UFC.
