The trilogy fight between Artem Levin and Joe Schilling will have to wait.
Levin, 28, has suffered an elbow injury that has forced him out of the long-anticipated showdown with No. 2-ranked GLORY middleweight Joe Schilling, according to sources close to the kickboxing promotion.
The fight was recently announced as the headliner for GLORY 24 on Oct. 9, 2015 inside Magness Arena in Denver, Colorado.
Stepping in for the injured champion against Schilling will be Jason Wilnis.
The 24-year-old Dutchman last fought at GLORY 20, losing in the four-man contender tournament final by split decision against Simon Marcus. Wilnis is now 24-5-1 overall and 3-3 in GLORY.
Schilling, 31, recently lost to Hisaki Kato at Bellator 139. "Stitch 'em Up" was victorious in his last GLORY bout, winning a one-sided unanimous decision against Robert Thomas at GLORY 19 in February.
In addition to the main event between Wilnis and Schilling, GLORY 24 will also feature a one-night contender tournament in the heavyweight division. The fighters have yet to be announced.
