Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) color commentator Joe Rogan was a recent guest on "Jay Leno's Garage," where the former Tonight Show host and avid car collector takes a look at some of the baddest wheels on the planet.
So, what's the former Fear Factor emcee doing there?
Rogan is showing off his 1965 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray "restomod," which is car-geek speak for restoring a classic car and modifying it to your personal taste. "Old looks with new underpinnings," as the longtime funnyman added, which means a supercharged LS1 V8 under the hood.
Sounds like a beauty.
The man behind the car is Steve Strope of Pure Vision, who started his vehicle restoration business in the underground garage of his apartment complex in 1998 and is now one of the most sought-after car guys in the world. Maybe he can swing by "The Garden State" and fix up my Kia SOUL?
