Where is Fedor Emelianenko going to fight?
The former PRIDE FC heavyweight champion announced his return to mixed martial arts (MMA) back in July, but the details of when and where he's going to compete have remained a mystery. One thing we do know, is that Emelianenko is not being courted by Bellator MMA.
Even though he's still rubbing elbows with his old boss in San Jose.
As for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), promotion president Dana White confirms he's been in contact with "The Last Emperor," but also indicates that no deal is in place and that he's still in the dark as to what Emelianenko is planning to do.
Then there's World Series of Fighting (WSOF), the dark horse of the Fedor sweepstakes.
Wherever he ends up, Emelianenko and his team have promised an announcement within the next three weeks. Hopefully, it's not some obscure Russian promotion or another Dana-come-lately with a dollar and a dream t-shirt.
Time will tell.
