After the title fight -- which was Floyd's last -- the mixed martial arts (MMA) world took to Twitter to mostly vent their frustrations at witnessing another typical Mayweather performance, which included a lot of defense and not much offense.
Check out their reactions:
Justin Bieber VMAs performance was so bad Mayeeather dropped him on the walkout #MayweatherBerto

Can someone explain why Floyd can drink Gatorade during the fight and yet the #NSAC threatens to suspend us for anything but unsealed h2o???
— Mike DOLCE (@TheDolceDiet) September 13, 2015
It's insane this two have "fought" for going on 12 rounds. Not a mark on either of them. #mmatakeover Mma vs boxing?? Easy decision nowadays

#TMT might be the only corner Ive seen allowed to drink #Gatorade during a fight lol. All us peasants are demoted to water #MayweatherBerto
— Aljamain Sterling (@FunkMaster_UFC) September 13, 2015
And at least on fighter believed Berto actually won the fight.
Mayweather is definitely not the #TBE and even @AndreBerto knows that. Berto won that fight and pushed the pace the whole fight

Finally, at least one person is happy Floyd has called it a day.
Now that the worst boxing era is over let's look forward to the next 10 years. #Canelo #Cotto #Golovkin #Lemieux
