"I'm obsessed with Road House, I love Road House. I see why people would be hesitant to see a remake, because it is such a classic. In my own way, I'm nervous. The worst thing that’s going to happen is, is that I’'ll really suck and just disgrace the name of (Patrick) Swayze and ‘Road House’ and everyone will hate me."
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who is expected to defend her 135-pound strap against top contender Holly Holm at the UFC 193 pay-per-view (PPV) event in November, made headlines earlier this week when it was announced that "Rowdy" was cast in the lead role of the upcoming "Road House" remake, a part made famous by the late Patrick Swayze (details). To that end, Rousey understands that most fans of the original film will hate her if she "sucks" in the upcoming do-over, which is expected to begin filming next year (right after this). Then again, critics said the same thing when Heath Ledger was cast as the "Joker" in "The Dark Knight." Any of you diehard "Road House" fans willing to give Rousey the benefit of the doubt?
