Ronda Rousey already gave her seal of approval to Joanna Jedrzejczyk after the strawweight champion disposed of Jessica Penne in what was her first-ever Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) title defense a few months back, but would "Rowdy" be interested in giving J.J. a couple of pointers?
It's something Joanna isn't opposed to experiencing, as she declared during a recent appearance on The MMA Hour that's she'd love to share some mat time with the women's bantamweight champion prior to her next title defense.
And since she will be stateside for a few months visiting some gyms, she may make her way down to Glendale Fighting Club in California.
Her words via Washington Post.
"Yeah, why not? I would like to visit some gyms and train a little bit before I start my camp in Poland. So yeah, why not? I could maybe visit Ronda's gym and we could train together."
Iron sharpens iron.
Rousey has taken a liking to Joanna, as she has proven she has what it takes to be a dominant female fighter. Also, just like Ronda, the undefeated 115-pound fighter (10-0, 4-0 UFC) has also garnered a huge fan base rather swiftly thanks to her impressive performances inside the Octagon.
She will next defend her title against Claudia Gadelha in what will be rematch of their highly-entertaining bout in 2014.
But, if Joanna wants to pencil in some one-on-one time with "Rowdy," she better call ahead, as the judoka's schedule is already filling up following her 34-second knockout of Bethe Correia at UFC 190.
