UFC 190 ratings for 'Rousey vs. Correia' prelims third best in FOX Sports 1 history

Jason Silva-USA TODAY Sports

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey, who knocked out Bethe Correia at UFC 190 last weekend in Brazil, helped power the entire "Rousey vs. Correia" fight card to great heights, starting with the "Prelims" on FOX Sports 1.

Overnight viewership reached 1,322,000, making it the third most-watched UFC "Prelims" in network history.

The MMA Report has more:

The televised prelims on FOX Sports 1 peaked at 1,599,000 viewers in the 9:15-9:30 p.m. ET quarter hour and the viewership was up +13% on household rating (1.04 vs. 0.92) and +10% on average audience (1,322,000 vs. 1,205,000) over the prelims for Rousey's last main event PPV card (UFC 184).

Not too shabby.

The UFC 190 preliminary card on FOX Sports 1 was topped by the light heavyweight slugfest pitting Patrick Cummins against Rafael Cavalcante (recap). Even the pre-show did gangbusters, clocking 518,000 viewers (third best) while the post show garnered 438,000 (second best).
