UFC Fight Night 73 live stream results: 'Teixeira vs Saint Preux' play-by-play updates

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back on FOX Sports 1 this Saturday night (Aug. 8, 2015) for another round of televised mixed martial arts (MMA) action by way of UFC Fight Night 73 in "Music City," which takes place inside Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee.

Also featuring "Prelims" on UFC Fight Pass and FOX Sports 2, UFC Fight Night 73 will be headlined by a light heavyweight showdown pitting former division No. 1 contender Glover Teixeira opposite rising star Ovince Saint Preux. Elsewhere on the card, Michael Johnson and Beneil Dariush will bang it out for a spot in the 155-pound pecking order.

Not exactly must-see TV, but at least it's free.

205 lbs.: Glover Teixeira vs. Ovince Saint Preux

Round 1: Teixeira catches a body kick and spins OSP to the ground. The former Volunteer stands up, only to get taken right back down. Half guard for Glover. OSP working to stand and does so, Glover pressing him against the fence, eats a knee to the bojangles. They restart in center cage and OSP blasts Glover with a body kick. Glover shoots as OSP pursues with strikes and St. Preux sprawls. Big shots by St. Preux. Glover makes it to his feet and backs OSP off with a right hand. Teixeira again catches a body kick and completes a single-leg, taking St. Preux down and taking mount. Two minutes in. Glover posturing up and landing heavy shots on St. Preux. OSP gives up his back. Glover loses a hook and gets the seatbelt grip. OSP scrambles free and stands, Glover clinging to him with double unders. Two minutes to go.

Glover changes levels and OSP loks to counter with a Kimura. Teixeira finishes the takedown, though OSP still has the Kimura grip. He loses it and Glover takes mount, then the back. OSP spins into top position and takes helf guard. Now side control as Glover clings to a headlock. One minute to go. OSP threatening the Von Flue choke. Glover escapes and they get to their feet. OSP shoots, can't get it and lands some short punches. Overhand right by Teixeira at the bell. 10-9 Teixeira.

Round 2: Body kick from OSP, then a head kick attempt. Glover on the front foot and again hits the single-leg after catching a body kick. OSP scrambles up. Overhand right and left hook from Glover, then body shots. One minute in. Golver shoots on the fence and takes OSP down. Half guard for Glover. Two minutes in. Short shots from the Brazilian. OSP scooting to the fence. Two minutes to go.

OSP looking for deep half guard. Hammerfists by Glover. One minute to go. OSP gets to his seat and stands using the fence. Left hand by Glover, OSP answers before the bell and fires a nice flurry. 10-9 Teixeira.

Round 3: Front kick from OSP, who stuffs a takedown. OSP shoots, denied. Right by the Brazilian. Glover cracks him on the fence wiht some good punches. OSP shoots, stuffed and Glover gets the rear waistlock. Teixeira completes the takedown into half guard. Two minutes in. Glover hops into mount. He postures up and drops some good punches. OSP gives up his back and Glover locks up the RNC. The former Volunteer goes to sleep and Glover stays to make sure he's alright.

Final result: Teixeira def. St. Preux by technical submission (rear-naked choke)

155 lbs.: Beneil Dariush vs. Michael Johnson

Round 1: Low kick from Dariush to open. Johnson keeping him near the fence. Dariush shots, Johnson shifts out of range. Dariush backs him off with a jumping knee attempt and lands a leg kick. One minute in. Overhand left misses. Low kick by Dariush. Neither man has landed a clean power punch yet. Two minutes in. Nice left hand by Dariush. Johnson jabs the body and denies a takedown attempt. Johnson avoids a leg kick, falls short with a 1-2. Body jab lands for Johnson. Two minutes to go.

Dariush jumping knee hits body. Good jab from Dariush. Low kick lands for him and he backs away from a combinaiton. Dariush shoots, denied. BIG left hand by Johnson briefly drops Dariush. Johnson attacking, landing some quality punches. Less than a minute to go. Body kick lands for Johnson. He clinches up at the bell. 10-9 Johnson.

Round 2: Low kick from Dariush, Johnson's counter just misses. Knee to the body from Dariush. Johnson stuffs a takedown and jabs the body. Dariush lands a left hand as Johnson opens up, then a knee to the body. One minute in. Knee by Dariush met by an overhand left from Johnson. Good body kick from the Kings MMA product. Two minutes in. 1-2 by Johnson. Dariush shoots, stuffed. Quick exchange inside. Right hook from Johnson as they swing. Two minutes to go.

Both men land straight lefts, then Johnson adds another one. Straight left from Dariush soon after. Uppercut by Dariush, who gets stuffed once again. One minute to go. Dariush lands a left, eats a bigger one from Johnson and they exchange. Johnson's getting the better of these exchanges and stuffs another takedown. Dariush tries a Superman punch off the fence before the bell. 10-9 Johnson.

Round 3: Dariush lands a knee to the body and eats a swatting right hook. Dariush touches the body with a straight left. One minute in. No clean connections so far in the round. Johnson stops another shot. Johnson to the body. Jumping knee attempt from Dariush. Two minutes in. Dariush connects with a left uppercut. Jab lands for him. Low kick from Dariush. Two minutes to go.

Dariush finding success with his jab, lands a hard 1-1-2. Good knee by Dariush met by an overhand left. More good jabs by Dariush, Johnson tags the body and goes up top with a straight left. Combination lands for the Blackzilians product. One minute to go. Dariush still looking for the knee. Low kick lands for him. Bell. 10-9 Dariush.

Round 1: Brunson lands an overhand left and shoots in, pressing Alvey against the cage. Brunson using some good dirty boxing. One minute in. They trade knees to the body and legs. BIG shots by Brunson on the break and he lands some massive shots ion Alvey. Brunson just battering Alvey on the fence. Alvey tumbles to the mat, eating punches from turtle position, and Mario Yamasaki steps in. Questionable stoppage, but Brunson is the first man to ever stop Alvey with strikes.

Final result: Brunson def. Alvey by TKO (punches)

265 lbs.: Timothy Johnson vs. Jared Rosholt

Round 1: Right hand from Rosholt early on. Rosholt clinches up near the fence and presses Johnson against it. One minute in. The two men continue to jockey for position. Knee to the body from Rosholt. Two minutes in. Johnson takes Rosholt down and smacks him with some right hands as he stands. Johnson pressing him against the fence. Front headlock by Rosholt. Two minutes to go.

Herb Dean separates them. Rosholt changes levels and takes Johnson down, passing right into mount while Johnson holds onto a headlock. Rosholt looking for a Von Flue choke. One minute to go. Right hand from Rosholt. He maintains top position with some short shots until the bell. 10-9 Rosholt.

Round 2: Left hand early from Johnson. Good shots by Johnson, Rosholt fires back and clinches up. Rosholt pressing Johnson against the fence. One minute in. Right hand by Johnson as he reverses position. Rosholt reverses and both men land shots on the break. Rosholt carts him to another portion of the fence, misses with a punch, and gets reversed. Two minutes in. Rosholt reverses and Johnson grabs a front headlock. This fight is every bit as awful as expected. Johnson wades forward with a bodylock and takes Rosholt down. He gets overzealous trying to take the back as Rosholt stands and gives up top position. Half guard for Rosholt. Two minutes to go.

Short shots by Rosholt. Elbows by Johnson. Not exactly sure what Johnson's looking for here. Rosholt pins down Johnson's right arm with his shin and looks for an Americana on the left arm. One minute to go. Johnson gets his arm free and the round ends with Rosholt dropping a right. 10-9 Rosholt.

Round 3: Johnson wings a left hand and Rosholt shoots. Johnson sprawls and whacks him with some right hands as Rosholt drives, pressing Johnson against the cage. Rosholt brings him down with a single-leg. Johnson on his rear against the fence. One minute in. Johnson looking for a Kimura grip as he urtles. He makes his way to his feet with Rosholt still attached. Rosholt still has the rear waistlock. Two minutes in. Johnson turns into him. Herb Dean separates them, half of the round remains. Left hook by Rosholt as Johnson tries a flying knee. Two minutes to go.

Right hand by Johnson and Rosholt tries to clinch. Both men land right hands. Johnson gets double underhooks and moves Rosholt to the cage. Rosholt reverses. I am being paid to watch this fight and I am still struggling to maintain interest. Knee from Rosholt, Johnson reverses position after separating. One minute to go. Roshlot eats some hard punches  and he's woblled. Rosholt fleeing and Johnson takes him down, landing in half guard. Johnson can't put him away. 10-9 Johnson.

Final result: Rosholt def. Johnson by unanimous decision

135 lbs.: Sara McMann vs. Amanda Nunes

Round 1: Nunes lands a left hook early. Counter right as Nunes presses forward. Nunes lands a leg kick and McMann shoots. Nunes defends well. One minute in. Nunes tries a wheel kick and McMann grabs the rear waistlock. Nunes stands and peels her off, drilling her with rights in the clinch. 3-2 by Nunes. Two minutes in. Right hook inside. Two minutes in. BIG right hand hurt McMann and Nunes pounds away. Nunes takes top position and keeps pounding, taking the back and putting both hooks in. Savage ground-and-pound by Nunes, who cinches up the RNC and earns the upset submission.

Final result: Nunes def. McMann by submission (rear-naked choke)

125 lbs.: Ray Borg vs. Geane Herrera

Round 1: Borg shoots in and slams Herrera down early on. Gerreara active off his back, manages to retain guard. Borg whiffs on a diving left hand. One minute in. Half guard now for Borg, who controls Herrera with a tight front headlock. Borg attempting to pass with the guillotine grip. Herrera sweeps, then goes back down due to the guillotine. Herrera goes for a leg and Borg drills him with right hands. Two minutes in. Borg threatens an inside heel hook, then dives in with a right hand and takes half guard. Borg working to pass and work a Kimura. Two minutes to go.

Ground-and-pound by Borg, who takes side control and nearly takes mount. Side control again for Borg. One minute to go. Borg working for an arm-triangle and cinches it up with full mount . Herrera get his head free and regains guard. Borg shrugs off a triangle attempt and continues dropping punches until the bell. 10-9 Borg.

Round 2: Wheel kick attempt by Borg. Borg shoots in and takes Herrera down into half guard. Herrera fighting for a Kimura. Borg waits it out and looks for side control. Back to half guard and threatening with the guillotine grip. Full mount for Ray Borg with the guillotine locked in. Herrera manages to survive and regains half guard. Two minutes to go. Herrera tries to elevate and sweep, Borg looks for a guillotine grip to defend. Right hand by Borg. Herrera tosses up his legs for a triangle,Borg shrugs it off and threatens an arm-triangle. Herrera gets his arm out. Two minutes to go.

More solid ground-and-pound by Borg. Herrera retaining guard but offering nothing in return. Side control now for Borg with a minute to go. D'arce attempt from Borg, can't get it but takes mount. Herrera regains guard, Borg dives back in with punches. Borg shrugs off a triangle and drops some more punches, avoiding another sub at the bell. 10-8 Borg.

Round 3: Borg hits another takedown inside ten seconds and whacks away from guard. Herrera tossing up his legs and cuts Borg open with an elbow. Half guard for Borg, who's pouring blood from near his left eye. It looks like it's off to one side and isn't going into his eye, so the doctor allows him to continue. One minute in. Borg threatening the guillotine, loses it. Herrera regains guard and Borg continues slamming home shots. Herrera continues to look for the triangle to no avail. Two minutes in. Half guard again. Herrera sweeps his way into mount. Borg escapes out the backdoor and shoots in, landing in side control to avoid a guillotine. Two minutes in.

Herrera tosses his legs up for an inverted triangle, can't get it and Borg takes the opposite side control. Herrera regains guard. One minute to go. Half guard for Borg, who passes with a guillotine trip. Herrera briefly tries to sweep before falling back due to the guillotine. Borg passes to mount, then the back in the last ten seconds and pounds away until the bell. 10-9 Borg.

Final result: Borg def. Herrera by unanimous decision

185 lbs.: Oluwale Bamgbose vs. Uriah Hall

Round 1: Bamgbose lands a good right hand early as Hall stalks forward. Low kick and body kick from Bamgbose. Hall tries a knee. Oblique kick from the UFC newcomer. Hall catches a body kick and takes top position. One minute in. Full guard. Bamgbose controlling his posture. Hall stands over him and whiffs on some hard rights. Hall moves him to the fence and lands some short right hands. They pause so Bamgbose can put his mouthpiece back in. Elbow by Uriah, hard left hand that stuns Bamgbose. Hall pours it on and earns the ground-and-pound TKO.

Final result: Hall def. Bamgbose by TKO (punches)

185 lbs.: Chris Camozzi vs. Tom Watson

Round 1: Kong on the front foot. They tie up and dig away to the body. Elbow to the head, knee to the body from Camozzi. They jockey for position on the fence. They separate and trade jabs. Lag kick exchange, combination by Camozzi. One minute in. Kong shoots in and Camozzi cinches up a nasty guillotine. Watson survives and returns to his feet, eating a knee. Camozzi popping him with jabs as he plods forward. Watson shoots again. Two minutes in. Short knees by Watson. Camozzi answers, eats an elbow. Leg kick by Kong, straight left and leg kick by Camozzi. Four-unch combo by Camozzi. They clinch up and Camozzi trips Watson to the ground, taking his back on the fence. Two minutes to go.

Camozzi moves to side control, then puts in a hook as Watson works to his feet. Camozzi gets him back down and traps an arm. Watson sits through and whiffs on an elbow when they stand. Short right hand by Kong, then a lead elbow. One minute to go. Camozzi takes one to the nards and they pause. They resume and Kong flicks out some kicks. Lead right by Camozzi. Left hand lands for the Brit, Camozzi whiffs on an axe kick. Watson lands a low kick and they clinch. Camozzi lands a good knee to the body and avoids an elbow. 10-9 Camozzi.

Round 2: Low kick exchange early. Body kick and left hand from Watson. Camozzi presses forward. Left by Camozzi. Anotehr low kick by the Brit. Kong tries a knee-tap and takes the American to the fence. Watson gets double underhooks, can't get anything from it but does knee Camozzi in the balls. One minute in. Big John takes a point and they resume. Sequence of jabs from Camossi. 2-3 by Watson, who's pushing Camozzi back. Counter right by Camozzi, straight right by Kong. They clinch back up. Elbow by Watson. They separate. Two minutes in. 1-3-1 from Camozzi, leg kick exchange. Hard left by Watson, who ties up on the fence. They separate. Both men land good lefts. Camozzi's jab continues to work. Camozzi sprawls on a shot. Two minutes to go.

Camozzi forces him down with a guillotine, Watson gets out and stands. Straight left by Camozzi. Watson grabs onto a knee, can't use it and eats an elbow. Jumping knee by Watson and Camozzi changes levels. One minute to go. Knees and elbows by Watson, Camozzi with an uppercut on the break. Camozzi staying busy with his jab. Watson finally takes him down with a double-leg and drops elbows until the bell. 9-9.

Round 3: Kong plodding forward, lands a hard combination. Body kick by Watson. Low kicks and jabs from the American, who slips a right hand. Straight left by Camozzi. His jab continues to work. One minute in. Body kick by Watson, then a clinch. Watson continuing to eat jabs, lands a body kick and a straight right. Body kick met by a Camozzi straight left. Straight left by Camozzi, Kong wings a right hand after him. Level change from Watson denied, elbow is not. Two minutes in. Knee to the body by Watson. Camozzi lands a left, eats another body kick. Elbow by the American, who gets double underhooks and easily takes Watson down. Half guard for Camozzi. Two minutes to go.

Camozzi tries to take the back, then tries again as Watson sluggishly rolls through. Hard dirty boxing by Watson when they stand. One minute to go. Knees to the body by Watson. Camozzi catches a knee to the head and takes the Brit down again. Watson stands and lands a hard elbow. Watson presses him against the fence and eats a heavy elbow before the bell. 10-9 Camozzi.

Final result: Camozzi def. Watson by unanimous decision

125 lbs.: Willie Gates vs. Dustin Ortiz

Round 1: Gates sticking out a long jab and kicks early on. Ortiz catches a front kick and wrangles him down. Gates manages to stand but Ortiz is still firmly attached. Ortiz fighting for a hook on the fence. One minute in. Gates avoids getting his back taken, so Ortiz completes a low single. Gates on his rear as Ortiz tries to control his legs. Gates makes it to his feet and makes space. Hard counter right by Ortiz. Two minutes in. Gates low kick hits groin, Ortiz elects to continue. Leg kick by Ortiz. Ortiz takes him down after taking a body kick and tries to work his way towards mount. He manages to cinch up an arm-triangle and makes it  to mount on the fence. Two minutes to go.

Gates extracts his arm but is still in mount on the fence. Gates looking to shrimp out. Ortiz retains mount. One minute to go. Ortiz staying heavy on him, landing short punches while grapevining his legs. Ortiz postures up and Gates works hard to control his posture. Bell. 10-9 Ortiz.

Round 2: Gates jumps in with a fluing knee attempt, lands a knee up top when Ortiz shoots. Ortiz catches a knee to the body, settles for taking Gates to the fence. Knees to the thigh from the Roufusport product. He changes levels but can't lift Gates. Elbow from Ortiz. He lands an elbow on the break, then shoots back in. Gates grabs a guillotine, can't keep it but lands some Browne elbows. Ortiz staying heavy on him on the fence. Two minutes in. Dirty boxing by the shorter man. Knee to the body, elbows up top. Two minutes to go.

Gates offering fewer strikes in return. Ortiz trips him down right into mount with ninety seconds to work. Elbows from Ortiz, hard punches as well. One minute to go. Gates gives up his back after a sequence of nasty elbows. Ortiz doesn't have it under the chin and lets go of the choke. Ortiz continues to pound away until the bell. 10-9 Ortiz.

Round 3: Ortiz lands a right hand as he takes a knee to the body. Left hook lands for him. Ortiz ties up on the fence, changes levels, and wrangles Gates to the mat. Half guard for Ortiz, now side control. Gates gives up his back after a series of hammerfists. One minute in. More punches and elbows by Ortiz. Gates turns into him, Ortiz grabs the back mount crucifix and slams home more elbows. Two minutes in. Gates continues to take punishment, but manages to grab onto Ortiz as the ref looks to stop it. Unfortunately, this puts him in mount, where Ortiz batters him with elbows until the referee steps in.

Final result: Ortiz def. Gates by TKO (punches)

135 lbs.: Sirwan Kakai vs. Frankie Saenz

Round 1: Low kick and right hand from Saenz to open the fight. Kakai lands a low kick of his own, eats a left and a body kick. Low kick by the Swede. Body kick from Saenz after narrowly missing with some bombs. Another low kick from Kakai, eats another body kick that strays low. One minute in. Low kick from Saenz. Kakai answers. Both men just miss with combinations, counter right lands for Kakai in the next exchange. Hard knee to the body from Saenz. Kakai trips him twice, can't keep him down. Two minutes in. Kakai pressing him against the fence and changes levels. He lifts and completes the takedown, putting Saenz on his rear against the cage. Saenz stands, tripped back down. Two minutes to go.

Saenz lands a hard right on the break, eats a knee to the body and looks to open up with hard strikes. Ne knees by Saenz, then an elbow after eating a knee in return. Low kick from Kakai. Overhand right, body kick by Saenz. Another low kick by Kakai. One minute to go. Saenz lands a sweeping right hand. Saenz is significantly busier, landing solid strikes. Hard check hook by Kakai. Another low kick connects. Saenz tries to jump in with a knee. He shoots in and works for a single-leg until the bell. 10-9 Saenz.

Round 2: Looping right hand from Saenz. He's not making any super clean connections, but he's making contact. Both just miss with heavy punches. Saenz grabs the bodylock and tries an inside trip, settles for taking Kakai briefly to the fence. One minute in. Saenz body kick. Saenz whiffs badly with a right hand and eats a left hook before trying to rush in again. Kakai with another hard leg kick; Saenz is not checking them at all. Stiff jab by Kakai, then a nasty body shot and leg kick. Left hook by Saenz, who catches a finger in the eye. They resume two minutes in. Short combination by Saenz. Low kick connects. Kakai answers.  Saenz takes Kakai down on the fence, can't keep him there and the Swede stands. Good knee to the body by Saenz. Two minutes to go.

Good jab by Kakai. Saenz is swinging wild, making occasional good contact. Kakai takes Saenz down on the fence and establishes top position. Saenz makes it to the feet and lands a good elbow on the break. One minute to go. Saenz leg kick. Again. Kakai with more stiff jabs. Check hook lands for him. Body kick from Saenz. Right hand for him at the end. 10-9 Kakai.

Round 3: Glancing right hand from Saenz. Counter jab by Kakai. Overhand right, knee to the body. More knees inside by Saenz. Kakai lands a body shot and shrugs off a level change. Right by Saenz. He puts Kakai on his back near the fence. One minute to go. Kakai gives up his back and Saenz briefly looks to have the choke. Kakai makes it to his feet and lands well on the break until Seanz shoots in. Kakai fishing for a front headlock. Two minutes to go. Saenz gets his head out, but appears to be cut open somewhat. They separate. Good knee and body shot by Kakai, who clinches and lands a knee of his own. Saenz pressuring Kakai on the fence, eats a knee to the body. Good elbow by Saenz. Kakai looks for a trip and they jockey for position. Two minutes to go.

Nice elbows from Saenz, defended well by Kakai. Saenz backs off and Kakai trips him up. Elbow by Saenz. Kakai coming on and lands a nice knee. One minute to go. Body shot by Kakai, Saenz backs him off with an elbow. Right hand by Saenz. Body shot by Kakai, who fights off a takedown but gets taken to the fence. Kakai changes levels, Saenz defends and fires off an elbow before the bell. 10-9 Saenz.

Round 1: Good straight left from Wilson early. Dempsey backs him off, then tries to shoot and is stuffed. Wilson presses him against the fence, then releases after taking a right to the gut. BIG left hand from Wilson flattens Dempsey and the follow-up hammerfist seals it.

Final result: Wilson def. Dempsey by TKO (punches)

135 lbs.: Roman Salazar vs. Marlon Vera

Round 1: Both men light on their feet. Salazar catches a body kick and shoots in. Vera defends well and cracks him with a knee, eventually sweeping into armbar position when Salazar gets him down. Counter right lands for Salazar. Vera tries a head kick, lands a body kick. Salazar shoots in on the fence and Vera counters with a Kimura grip. Salazar gets his arm free. One minute to go. Good combination on the exit. Looping right connects as Salazar pursues. Vera lands a sharp lead left. Flying knee attempt from Vera, who storms after Salazar until the bell. 10-9 Salazar.

Round 2: Salazar eats a straight left, then shoots in and takes Vera to the fence. He has a bodylock. Vera tries to sweep when he hits the ground and gives up his back. Vera turns for a leg and Salazar takes full guard on top. One minute in. More short GnP by Salazar. Vera doing a solid job of controlling his posture and slaps on a triangle, blasting Salazar with elbows until he can get the dominant angle and extend his arm for the tap.

Round 1: Christodoulou rushes in, Holtzman whacks him with a counter right and circles off. Lots of stance shifting for the newcomer, who misses a spinning back fist. Low kick lands for him. He slips while in pursuit, then trips Christodoulou up with a low kick. One minute in. Christodoulou is throwing, but his punches are far less crisp. Low kick by the American. Left hook connects and they clinch up. Holtzman takes him to the fence and lands short elbows and knees. Christodoulou with a right on the break. Two minutes in. Back to the clinch. Knee to the body, elbow upstairs for Holtzman. Christodoulou separates and shrugs off a massive right hand. Again. Christodoulou tries to change levels after eating a knee, Holtzman takes outside position on the fence. Two minutes to go.

Knee by Holtzman, Christodoulou reverses. Holtzman reverses in turn, lands more knees and elbows. Right hand on the break lands for him. One minute to go. Lead left uppercut lands, spinning elbow attempt from the American. They clinch again and Holtzman lands a left hand on the break before slipping the counters. Christodoulou has eaten some massive shots, including an uppercut at the ten-second mark. The Greek ties up until the bell. 10-9 Holtzman.

Round 2: Holtzman comes out aggressive. Left hand on the fence, body kick lands soon after. Christodoulou's ringcraft is lackluster and he's finding himself with his back to the fence, eating strikes. Big uppercut, heavy cross by the American. Elbow in the clinch. BIG left hook, Christodoulou comes back with a pair of shots. Another body kick by Holtzman and they clinch. Spinning elbow cracks Christodoulou, who eats it and the subsequent right hand. What is this man made of. Uppercut, right straight by Holtzman. Another spinning elbow, cross counter lands. Two minutes in. Christodoulou's punches have nothing behind them to back Holtzman off. Another hard cross from the American. Straight right by the Greek lands, spinning elbow lands again for Holtzman. Two minutes to go.

Brazilian kick lands, Christodoulou answers with a body kick. They jockey for position on the fence. They separate and Holtzman continues his pursuit. High knee connects for him on the leaning Greek. BIG uppercut and right hand and another uppercut. He fires an elbow so hard he nearly falls on his face, allowing Christodoulou to clinch. One minute to go. Christodoulou falls back for a leg, but doesn't have Holtzman's knee controlled and Holtzman stands over him. Christodoulou grabs a front headlock as he drives before the bell. 10-9 Holtzman.

Round 3: Holtzman still looks fresh and lands a leg kick early. Overhand right just misses for him, Christodoulou backs him off with a flurry. Holtzman takes outer position on the fence. Hard body shot and right  cross upstairs. One minute in and Holtzman rips him with another left hook. Elbow on the break. Another straight right lands, then the one after. Good knee to the body as they clinch. He hits an inside trip and sets up in Christodoulou's guard. The Greek gives up his back trying to stand and Holtzman inserts his hooks. Two minutes in. Holtzman re-takes the back after a scramble attempt, then slips his arm under the chin for the RNC finish.

Final result: Holtzman def. Christodoulou by submission (rear-naked choke)
