Now that UFC Fight Night 74 -- which went down last week (Sun., Aug. 23, 2015) in Nashville, Tennessee (results here) -- is in the books, it's time to look ahead to Ultimate Fighting Championship's (UFC) next pay-per-view (PPV) event.
And it's a good one.
UFC 191 will go down on Sept. 5, 2015 from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and will feature a flyweight title fight as champion Demetrious Johnson will go toe-to-toe for the second time against John Dodson in the main event.
The duo initially went at it back in 2013 at UFC on FOX 6, with Johnson defeating Dodson via unanimous decision to defend his 125-pound title.Since then, "Mighty Mouse" has been on a tear, defending his title a whopping five consecutive times.
Dodson, meanwhile, has won three straight, but his road back to the big dance was halted after suffering an ACL injury which kept him on the sidelines for a year. Now, "The Magician" is healthy and ready to dethrone the dominant champion.
The promotion rolled out the UFC 191 Countdown video, which you can see in the video embedded above.
UFC 191 will also feature an intriguing heavyweight showdown between Andrei Arlovski and Frank Mir, two longtime veterans who have recently turned back the hands of time to go on a knockout spree inside the Octagon. Also on the card, Anthony Johnson will make his return when he faces off against Jimi Manuwa.
