Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) has paired off Cathal Pendred and Tom Breese for a welterweight battle at the upcoming UFC Fight Night 77: "Poirier vs. Duffy" mixed martial arts (MMA) event, booked for Oct. 24, 2015 inside 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
That's according to the man himself.

Pendred (17-3) was able to rattle off four straight wins under the UFC banner after coming up short on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF); however, John Howard snapped that streak with a unanimous decision win over "The Punisher" last month in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Time to get back on the horse and try again.
Breese (8-0), meanwhile, has yet to taste defeat after eight professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fights. That includes his first round technical knockout victory over Luiz Jorge Dutra Jr. at the UFC Fight Night 67 event back in May. The 23-year-old phenom has yet to see a fight go the distance.
Ireland vs. England!
UFC Fight Night 77 will be headlined by the electric lightweight main event pitting the revitalized Dustin Poirier against hometown hero "Irish Joe" Duffy. Expect more bouts to be announced for the UFC Fight Pass-streamed card in the coming weeks.
