Bellator Light Heavyweight tournament pairs Linton Vassell vs King Mo, Phil Davis vs Emanuel Newton

When your name is called, please come to the front of the line. Your opponent will meet you there.

First up is "The Swarm" Linton Vassell, 15-4 with only one loss in Bellator, the former UCMMA Light Heavyweight champion. Vassell defeated Sokoudjou in his last Bellator fight this February.

His opponent on Sept. 19, 2015, at "Dynamite 1" will be Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal, also 15-4 (with one no contest) and three straight wins in Bellator, his last coming in a Heavyweight bout with Cheick Kongo.

Emanuel Newton, please step up. The former Bellator Light Heavyweight champion -- who lost that title to Liam McGeary in February -- begins his quest for redemption inside SAP Center in San Jose, Calif., against the debuting "Mr. Wonderful" Phil Davis. Winner in four out of his last six appearances, Davis made a surprising jump to Bellator after losing a split decision in UFC to Ryan Bader.

These fights officially set the brackets for the Light Heavyweight tournament, with the two winners to ultimately face off and crown a new No. 1 title contender, who will fight the winner of Liam McGeary vs. Tito Ortiz.
