The GLORY featherweight title bout between current champion Gabriel Varga (26-2) and opponent Serhiy Adamchuk (29-5) has been scrapped from the Sept. 19 card, according to sources close to the promotion. An undisclosed injury is the cause for the fight's cancellation. has yet to receive information on whether Varga or Adamchuk is the injured fighter.

The match up was only announced a few weeks ago during this month's Spike telecast of GLORY 23. As of this writing, no fight has been selected to take its place.

Varga defeated Mosab Amrani at GLORY 20 at Dubai World Trade Centre last April to become the first featherweight champion in GLORY history. The 30-year-old Canadian is on a four-fight winning streak, including the GLORY 17 four-man tournament.

Adamchuk, 25, won his GLORY debut over Marat Grigorian via unanimous decision at GLORY 22 in Lille, France, on June 5, 2015. The Ukraine native is currently ranked No. 4 in GLORY's featherweight division.

The GLORY portion of the hybrid MMA/kickboxing event will be headlined by a light heavyweight title fight between Zack Mwekassa and Saulo Cavalari. A title fight between Tito Ortiz and Bellator light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary will headline the Bellator side. Also featured on the night's card will be a one-night, four-main light heavyweight tournament featuring Emanuel Newton, Muhammed "King Mo" Lawal, Phil Davis, and Linton Vassel.
