United States Marine Jarrod Haschert, a mere 22 years young, is looking for a date to the big dance. That's why he made an online video for his far-away crush, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight titleholder Ronda Rousey.
The video has more than three million views in less than a week.
"You are my celebrity crush, like, I love everything you do and I think you are a phenomenal person," Hash said. "Which is why it would be my honor to take you to the Marine Corps Ball."
Rousey is no stranger to online crushes.
But whether she relents and takes the young whipper-snapper to his ball, or pulls the "Sorry junior, I'm currently in training camp" card remains to be seen. Of course, there is a wild rumor floating around that she's already involved with a co-worker, so "Rowdy" may be off the market entirely.
How about "Cyborg" instead?
