Longtime Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veteran Nik Lentz is headed back to his old stomping grounds for his upcoming fight against Danny Castillo at the UFC on FOX 17 mixed martial arts (MMA) event on Dec. 19, 2015 inside Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

UFC announced the lightweight booking on Wednesday.

Lentz (25-7-2, 1 NC) is coming off a submission loss to Charles Oliveira at UFC Fight Night 67 back in May. The defeat to "Do Bronx" left him with a respectable 4-2 record at 145 pounds, but why make a brutal weight cut if the grass isn't any greener on the other side?

Castillo (17-9), meanwhile, is in desperate need of a win, having dropped four of his last five. While three of them have been close decisions, "Last Call" is now 36 and doesn't have much time left if he hopes to make another run at the 155-pound strap.

UFC on FOX 17 will be headlined by reigning lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos, who defends his world title for the first time ever in a rematch against streaking 155-pound standout Donald Cerrone. Elsewhere on the FOX-televised fight card, Nate Diaz returns to action against lightweight "Menace" Michael Johnson, while Junior dos Santos and Alistair Overeem bang it out at heavyweight.
