ONE Championship returns to Jakarta on September 27 with a card at the Istora Senayan Indoor Arena that will be headlined by a featherweight title fight between reigning Mongolian champion Narantungalag Jadambaa and undefeated Russian challenger Marat Gafurov.

It will be ONE Championship's fourth card in Indonesia and the first time that a title fight has ever taken place in Jakarta. Jadambaa (10-3) has won ten out of his last 11 fights and has beaten some of the best lightweights in the region including Akihiro Gono, Kazunori Yokota, Adrian Pang and Yui Chul Nam.

He dropped down to featherweight last year and the 39 year old proved just as effective in a lighter division, outpointing Honorio Banario in his ONE debut and then winning a decision over Koji Oishi to become the organization's third 145-pound champion.

However, Jadambaa has been out of action for over a year and is taking on an opponent in the form of Gafurov (11-0). The Russian is a former M-1 featherweight champion who has submitted both Rob Lisita and Ev Ting since signing for ONE earlier this year.

In the co-main, event two top featherweights collide when Herbert Burns (5-0) takes on Timofey Nastyukhin (9-1). The former is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) black belt but the latter has knocked out both Eduard Folayang and Yusuke Kawanago in the ONE cage and is riding a nine fight win streak.

A middleweight showdown between Leandro Ataides (8-1) and undefeated Russian newcomer Aleksei Butorin(9-0) also awaits fans with the Brazilian looking to work his way back into title contention after suffering a knockout loss at the hands of Igor Svirid in a fight which had the inaugural 185-pound title at stake last year.

The only man to ever defeat reigning ONE flyweight champion Adriano Moraes will be making his 125-pound debut in Jakarta. Yusup Saadulev (13-4-1) will be looking to make an immediate statement about his title contenders when he faces up and coming young prospect Andrew Leone (7-2).

The show will be broadcast live on the RCTN channel in Indonesia and ONE Championship CEO Victor Cui declared:

"Odyssey OF Champions already has the makings of yet another phenomenal night of world class mixed martial arts action. We have some amazing partners here in Jakarta such as MNC, Haier and Kawasaki and together we will bring to local MMA fans one of the strongest cards of the year, featuring some of the most compelling matchups we’ve had thus far."
