Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm odds: 'Rowdy' opens as huge 10-1 favorite for UFC 195

Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

Well, that didn't take long.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) announced today that the headliner of UFC 195 on Jan. 2, 2016, will be Ronda Rousey vs. Holly Holm, expected to go down at MGM Grand Garden Arenda in Las Vegas and Bovada already has the champ out in front as a 10 to 1 favorite:

UFC 195 - MGM Grand - Las Vegas, USA
Ronda Rousey -1000 (1/10)
Holly Holm +600 (6/1)

So, who wants to risk $1,000 to win a hundo?

Not seeing too many hands in the crowd.

While "Rowdy" has commanded a sizable betting line (yet again), it's not the most lopsided in women's mixed martial arts (MMA) history. The titleholder for that one goes to former Strikeforce featherweight champion Cristiane Justino, who was a ridonkulous -2500 over Jan "Cuddles" Finney, who was destroyed by "Cyborg" over the course of a 7:56 beatdown in 2010.

Rousey and Holm both enter UFC 195 undefeated, however while the champion has stopped all 12 of her victims via brutal armbar or knockout, the "Preacher's Daughter" has gone to the judges in both her UFC fights. Indeed, even Holm suggested she's not ready for Rousey when interviewed less than a month ago about the topic.

Nevertheless, $60 to win $360 isn't the worst long shot anybody's ever made.

What do you think about the opening line? Anyone surprised it's actually that close?
