Business mogul-turned United States presidential candidate, Donald Trump, recently stated that he has no problems with women filling the roles of front line combatants in the United States military, saying he supports all females fighting in every facet of the armed forces.
In fact, if he had an army, the outspoken -- and oft-criticized -- billionaire declared that he'd draft Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey to guard his foxhole. That's because -- for whatever reason -- he believes "Rowdy" likes and supports him.
His words to CNN:
"I guess the answer is yes, because they're really into it. Some of them are really, really good. I'll tell you what, I know some woman that are just -- Ronda Rousey is an example, who likes me. ... I'd take her on my side as a fighter."
There's just one problem: UFC's queen bee isn't very fond of Trump, telling CNN that there is no way she would ever vote for a reality television star to run the United States.
"I mean, I wouldn't vote for him. I just really wouldn't trust the guy with running my country, that's all. ... I'm not really going to get into specifics of it, but, I mean, I don't want a reality TV star to be running my country."
The genesis for this bizarre miscommunication is unclear ... and comes from totally out of nowhere.
Nevertheless, Trump is currently leading the Republican race, so he does seem to have plenty of fans and supporters. Unfortunately, he'll have to look for a new female ass kicker to join his army because Rousey -- who is Latina -- isn't digging his right-wing style.
And "The Apprentice."
