WSOF 23: 'Gaethje vs Palomino 2' fight card finalized with 12 bouts

An exciting World Series of Fighting (WSOF), headlined by a rematch between Lightweight Justin Gaethje against Luis Palomino on Sept. 18, 2015, at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, Ariz., is now complete.

Clifford "Big Cat" Starks will make a quick return after upsetting Mike 'MAK' Kyle at WSOF 22. He'll be put to the test against the undefeated Krasimir Mladenov (12-0), who has yet to face a serious challenge with the mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion.

WSOF President Ray Sefo is excited about several key match-ups announced for the card, including MMA veteran Isaac Vallie-Flagg (15-7-1) against the equally experienced Estevan Payan (16-8) and Matthew Frincu (6-1) facing Danny Davis Jr. (11-8-1) in preliminary undercard action.

"This is a phenomenal assembly of up-and-coming talent from Phoenix as well as established veterans and rising stars from elsewhere around the U.S. and other parts of the globe. When we brought World Series of Fighting to the city of Phoenix for the first time earlier this year we discovered a considerable pool of talent. We are excited to be able to put some of this talent back in action and to deploy several new faces that we feel have earned a shot to compete in the big leagues."
