UFC 192 fight card adds Joseph Benavidez vs Ali Bagautinov, Rose Namajunas vs Angela Hill

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The No. 2-ranked Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Flyweight, Joseph Benavidez, and No- 3-ranked women's Strawweight, Rose Namajunas, are headed to the "Lone Star State."

Houston Chronicle today reports that Benavidez will battle Ali Bagautinov, while Namajunas will tangle with Angela Hill at UFC 192, which takes place inside Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, on Oct. 3, 2015.

Benavidez is in the midst of another three-fight win streak, division champion Demetrious Johnson being the only man who has defeated "Joe B-Wan" in 11 matches inside the Octagon. Bagautinov is out of the doghouse after he tested positive for Recombinant Human Erythropoietin (EPO) following his championship loss to Johnson on June 14, 2014.

Namajunas will attempt to right the ship after suffering back-to-back losses to Carla Esparza (submission) and Tecia Torres, the former a failed bid to claim the inaugural women's 115-pound strap. And she'll have to do it against her The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 20 castmate, Hill, who was also unsuccessful against Torres in her most recent appearance.

UFC 192 features a Light Heavyweight main event between division champion, Daniel Cormier, looking to defend his title for the first time ever at the expense of Alexander Gustafsson. In other meaningful main card PPV action, fellow 205-pound contenders Ryan Bader and Rashad Evans will look to make a case as the next in line for a future title shot.
