Pics: Awesome fan art shows UFC's Ronda Rousey as 'Captain Marvel'

After proclaiming her interest in playing the role of "Ms. Marvel" -- also known as "Captain Marvel" -- Ronda Rousey has garnered major backing from her legions of fans.

In fact, a few talented fans among them took the time to create images of the Ultimate fighting Championship (UFC) women's bantamweight champion as the superhero.

Rousey took to her Instagram to post some of the best ones, and they are very impressive.

You have to admit, Rousey looks picture perfect for the role, though the competition will be intense when it comes to landing the coveted role.

After seeing these great images, it'd be nice to see other hopefuls -- such as Jessica Chastain and Bryce Dallas Howard -- also given the art treatment.
