Pump the brakes on that move to welterweight.
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight champion Rafael dos Anjos will return to mixed martial arts (MMA) action and put his 155-pound title on the line against top division contender Donald Cerrone in the UFC on FOX 17 five-round main event, recently announced for Dec. 19, 2015 inside Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.
FOX Sports brought word of the new booking on Thursday.
"Here we go, God lift me up for one more mission," the Brazilian said on social media. "The victory it's out there, I just gonna go there and get it."
"Cowboy" also kept it short and sweet.

Cerrone (28-6, 1 NC) dropped a unanimous decision to Dos Anjos (24-7) back in 2013, but has since rattled off eight straight wins and has been patiently waiting for his crack at the crown while the Brazilian -- who took the title from Anthony Pettis last March -- recovers from his recent knee surgery.
No other bouts have been announced for the promotion's return trip to "The Sunshine State," but you can expect that to change sooner, rather than later. Until then, let's get some predictions on this lightweight rematch.
Cerrone, or Dos Anjos?
