Mixed martial arts (MMA) fans were oh-so-close to witnessing a ridiculous battle of jiu-jitsu prowess between grappling masters and Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight contenders Demian Maia and Gunnar Nelson.
Then some dickhead decided that hygiene was optional and passed his wretchedness onto the unsuspecting Brazilian, who is probably bummed about returning to the sidelines after last year's extended layoff.

Nelson -- coming off an emphatic submission win over Brandon Thatch last month in Las Vegas -- is expected to receive a new assignment for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 76 event on Oct. 24, 2015, inside 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland.
