I'm not sure what else there is to say about UFC 189 that hasn't already been said, but let's be honest, we're all just here for the staredowns. Speaking of which, I can't wait to see the height difference between Chad Mendes and Conor McGregor.
"Money" will main event the UFC 189 pay-per-view (PPV) event on July 11 opposite the "Notorious" featherweight No. 1 contender, and the winner walks out of the MGM Grand Garden Arena the interim 145-pound champion, thanks to a recent rib injury to Jose Aldo.
Not sure how much mic time that leaves for the championship co-main event between reigning UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler and top 170-pound contender Rory MacDonald, who rematch from their UFC 167 contest back in 2013.
And if "Ruthless" and "Red King" don't get much love, I'm not sure what hope there is for Jake Ellenberger and Stephen Thompson, who headline The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 21 Finale on Sunday night (July 12) inside the MGM Grand (full fight card here).
But hey, media obligations and all that jazz.
The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 21 Finale also takes place this weekend, just one day after UFC 189. So rather than hold two separate press conferences, the promotion has decided to also include Jake Ellenberger and Stephen Thompson, who will headline the FOX Sports 1-televised event, as well as Welterweight finalists from the show Hayder Hassan (American Top Team) and Kamaru Usman (Blackzilians).
The live press conference video stream begins promptly at 2 p.m. ET in the embedded player above.
