Alistair Overeem calls out Junior dos Santos, tells UFC President Dana White to 'make it happen'

Mark J. Rebilas-USA TODAY Sports

He even included that little fist emoji, so we know he's serious this time.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight contender Alistair Overeem, fresh off a "Big Country" beatdown in Dallas, Texas, is once again campaigning for a 265-pound showdown against former division kingpin Junior dos Santos, just as soon as the Brazilian heals up from his recent surgery.

No more hiding!

Don't expect "Cigano" to accept any match ups until this decision is made.

Then again, Dos Santos may have already moved on from a fight against Overeem, after trying to make it happen several times over the past three years. Weighing in the Dutchman's favor (besides this) is the availability of similarly-ranked heavyweights, though I wouldn't be opposed to seeing "Demolition Man" serve as a rebound fight for the recently-deposed Cain Velasquez.
