Jose Aldo rallies Brazilian fans behind Chad Mendes, tells 'Money' to smash Conor McGregor at UFC 189

How much does Jose Aldo hate Conor McGregor?

Enough to join forces with former featherweight rival Chad Mendes, who took over for the ailing Brazilian in the upcoming UFC 189 pay-per-view (PPV) main event this Saturday night (July 11, 2015) inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada (results here).

Because the enemy of my enemy is my friend, or something along those lines.

Maybe they forgot about this.

No disrespect to Mendes, who has a pretty good shot at winning this weekend in "Sin City" (despite the odds), but I can't be the only mixed martial arts (MMA) fan who is more interested in seeing Aldo fighting to unify the 145-pound titles against McGregor -- once he recovers from his rib injury -- than a third go-round with Mendes.

Right?
