Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) contender Chad Mendes is a great wrestler, but will fail to get inside the reach of the much-bigger Conor McGregor, only to get picked apart in the UFC 189 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, which takes place this Sat. night (July 11, 2015) inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
That's according to the experts at SportsbookReview.com:
The bottom line here is that McGregor is simply too big for Mendes. The Notorious one is three inches taller and owns a daunting eight inch reach advantage. Those advantages could be nullified if McGregor cannot manage to stay upright, but I believe Mendes will take a world of punishment trying to get inside on a devastating striker like Conor McGregor.
"Notorious" by unanimous decision ... or knockout?
Irish fans will be elated to know that McGregor can be snagged for as low as -140 in the money line, while Mendes runs as high as +150, depending on the Sportsbook. Compare all the UFC odds and betting lines from all the major sites to find the best value at SportsbookReview.com right here.
The winner takes home the interim featherweight title.
