No disrespect to Jessica Aguilar, but I would love to see this rematch.
Reigning Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk was looking ahead to her next fight, presumably a late 2015 title defense (depending on this), as two of the division's top contenders bang it out for the next crack at the crown.
Namely, the aforementioned Aguilar and former 115-pound nemesis Claudia Gadelha, who collide at the upcoming UFC 190 pay-per-view (PPV) event, scheduled for Aug. 1, 2015 inside HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (more on that fight here).
"I think Claudia is going to win," Jedrzejczyk told The MMA Hour. "I would like that. I'm different now, I'm going to win easy this time. I"m better. Now I know I have KO power, my wrestling is different, getting better and better. I really can play on the ground even better than before."
Jedrzejczyk is expecting their potential rematch to end much differently than their first go-round, which ended by way of split decision at UFC on FOX 13 back in December of 2013. Naturally, those comments didn't sit too well with "Claudinha."
Little girl, Forget about me and go train because I'm working hard. You keep talking about me because you know you lost to me. #Imreal

I'm going out on a limb here and suggesting this probably irked her, as well.
Following her win over the previously-undefeated Brazilian, Jedrzejczyk went on to smoke Carla Esparza for the strawweight title, before beating the brakes off Jessica Penne just last month. Gadelha, meanwhile, has been riding the pine during that time due to injury.
Are these two destined for a do-over, or will "Jag" play spoiler?
