UFC teammate compares Jon Jones to Miley Cyrus: 'There's no such thing as a perfect angel'

The Photoshop possibilities are so tantalizing I can barely type...

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) flyweight No. 1 contender John Dodson is making the media rounds this week to promote his upcoming rematch against Demetrious Johnson, which takes place on Sept. 5, 2015 inside MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

So why is "The Magician" talking about Jon Jones?

Probably because they train together at Jackson's MMA in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and the mixed martial arts (MMA) community hasn't seen hide nor hair of "Bones" (aside from this) after getting suspended in wake of last April's legal drama.

From Dodson's UFC 191 media luncheon (via MMA Fighting):

"He just wasn't the perfect angel that everyone thought he was to be. You guys keep on thinking that he's supposed to be like Hannah Montana, but really he was Miley Cyrus. He had this safe zone and every one of them made sure he was this perfect angel. There's no such thing as a perfect angel. I don't think even think Mother Theresa was a saint her whole entire life. Oscar Wilde said that every sinner has a future and every saint has a past."

Jones is staying positive and still training every day.

Unfortunately, the former light heavyweight champion is still in limbo as he waits for the state to assemble a case against him. Jones is charged with felony hit-and-run and jail time is a very real possibility, depending on how aggressive the prosecution wants to be after yet another slip up.
