Not to get all technical and what not, but TJ Dillashaw beat the ever-loving shit out of Renan Barao.
In the process, he retained his championship title and silenced most of the doubters with his technical knockout win in the UFC on FOX 16 main event, which took place last Saturday night (July 25, 2015) inside United Center in Chicago, Illinois. "The Viper" is now on a collision course with ex-bantamweight kingpin Dominick Cruz.
If not, then the next best thing.
Also doing work at 135 pounds was former division No. 1 contender Miesha Tate, who may have earned herself another crack at the crown by popping and dropping Jessica Eye -- more than once -- in their women's bantamweight co-headliner. The win was the fourth straight for "Cupcake" in a division want of contenders.
That's not all, not by a long shot.
But with so many stories coming out of the "Windy City" and not much time over the weekend to read them all, your friends right here at MMAmania.com have taken the time to compile a list of all the relevant links right here into one handy-dandy fight wrap-up.
