Retired UFC welterweight-turned-mixed martial arts (MMA) coach Duane Ludwig had a lot to say about the squad at Team Alpha Male, a gym where "Bang" coached a handful of top stars before leaving to establish his own training facility in Colorado.
While the former K-1 champ was complimentary of UFC bantamweight titleholder TJ Dillashaw, who captured the 135-pound crown under his tutelage, he was less than forgiving of "The Viper's" teammates, who apparently aren't hungry enough to feast on a title.
See those comments here.
Not surprisingly, the "Bang"-fest went over like a lead balloon in Sacramento, where several prominent fighters fired back at Ludwig for his "disrespect." And one UFC bantamweight even went so far as to compare him to a "jealous, delusional ex-girlfriend."
I've been a champion my entire life. Don't disrespect me with that nonsense. pic.twitter.com/ebSmvg3kFj

Those guys are really ganging up on "Bang" -- which I guess makes it a Gang "Bang."
Following his departure, Ludwig was replaced by fellow welterweight veteran Martin Kampmann. Team Alpha Male had a chance to win the featherweight title when Chad Mendes stepped in to fight Conor McGregor on short notice, but alas, "Money" was short-changed at UFC 189.
How long before they can prove him wrong? Only time will tell...
