World Series of Fighting's (WSOF) roster has grown again, boasting new talent in two different weight classes.
Light Heavyweight Andreas Spang -- also known as "Sweet Swede" hold nine wins in 12 professional bouts. He may best be remembered for his stint in Bellator MMA, where he blasted Brian Rogers with a knockout punch in 2012. Back-to-back losses followed and Spang was released from the promotion.
Featherweight Adam Ward is a 15-6 fighter hailing from Chicago, Ill., whose professional mixed martial arts (MMA) career dates back to 2008. He is coming into WSOF on a five-fight win streak, with his most recent victory coming over Rey "The Warrior" Trujillo.
WSOF President Ray Sefo offered these comments on his two newest prospects:
"We are thrilled to welcome Adam and Andreas -- two aggressive and exciting competitors whose respective careers are on the upswing -- to the rapidly expanding WSOF roster of world-class talent."
Spang hoped to make his promotional debut at WSOF 22 next weekend (Sat., Aug. 1, 2015), but had to withdraw because of an injury. Both fighters will have opponents and dates announced at a later time.
