Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is back on the FOX network for the appropriately titled UFC on FOX 16, featuring a bantamweight championship rematch in the five-round main event, locked and loaded for TONIGHT (Sat., July 25, 2015) inside United Center in Chicago, Illinois.
Headlining the "Dillashaw vs. Barao 2" mixed martial arts (MMA) fight card will be reigning 135-pound champion TJ Dillashaw facing the man he stripped of the strap, bitter ex-titleholder Renan Barao. In the women's bantamweight co-main event, Jessica Eye looks to prove she's worthy of a division title shot by disposing of venerable gatekeeper Miesha Tate.

Round 1: Tate comes charging right out of the gate, running into Eye's jab. Eye getting the better of the early exchanges. Left hook from Tate after eating a right hand. One minute in. Uppercut and left hook from Eye. Eye counters a front kick with a powerful combination, started by a right hand. Counter 3-2 from Eye. Two minutes in. Overhand right lands for Miesha. Big counter right from Eye, who hurts her with a combination. Another right on the break after Eye stuffs a takedown. Two minutes to go.
Tate shoots in, Eye stuffs it and cracks her with a left hand. Tate stumbles her with a stiff jab, then drops Eye with an overhand right. Tate on top in half guard. Eye clinging tightly to her. One minute to go. Elbows from Tate. Eye survives the round. 10-9 Tate.

Lauzon goes for a low single, and takes the back when Gomi stumbles. Lauzon threatens a Suloev stretch, then goes back to looking for the choke. Elbows from Lauzon. Two minutes in. Gomi's flattened out. Good punches from Lauzon put Gomi out. Lauzon walks away and Gomi, after waking up, accepts defeat.

Round 1: WIneland highly aggressive early on. Caraway shoots in and takes Wineland down on the fence after eating a body kick. Two minutes in. Wineland whiffing on the right hands, but moving well. Left hook connects for Caraway. Straight right lands on the chin for Eddie. Caraway shoots and takes Wineland to the fence, landing a knee to the body. Wineland threatens a high-elbow guillotine and they separate. Wineland slipping most of Caraway's punches. Round 1: Nijem eats a left hand early, then a body kick. 1-2 from Nijem. Holbrook blocks a body kick and shoots in. Ramsey stays up, eating knees from the bodylock. Nijem denies a lift and lands a knee to the body. One minute in. They separate and Nijem whiffs on a right hand. Front kick to the body lands for him. Ramsey completes a knee-tap and takes top position. Holbrook looking for a guillotine. Njiem gets his neck out after threatening a pass. Holbrook very active with strikes and motion off his back. Round 2: Nijem whiffs on a high kick early, hurts Holbrook with a massive flurry. Holbrook ties up on the fence. Ramsey changes levels, Holbrook threatening the neck. Nijem gets him down and Holbrook works for an arm-in guillotine. One minute in. Nijen gets his head out and nearly takes the back. Granby roll by Holbrook into a kneebar attempt. Ramsey drops some hard punches as they roll. Holbrook nearly gives up his back after looking for a heel hook. Two minutes in. Holbrook tries a straight armbar, then takes top position when Ramsey tries to jump on his back. Full guard. Nijem controlling posture as Holbrook drops short shots. Nijem turns into him and shoots, so Holbrook works for a d'arce. It looks tight. Two minutes to go.
Ramsey gets his head out and shoots in, taking Holbrook down and avoiding a guillotine. The scrambles continue. Now Holbrook getting the better of it and dropping hammerfists. Holbrook goes for the guillotine once again. One minute to go. Holbrook in the front headlock position, Ramsey puts him on his rear with thirty seconds to go. Holbrook controls his posture until the bell. 10-9 Holbrook., barely.
Round 3: Nijem lands a snap kick to the body and wades forward with heavy punches. He changes levels and scores an early takedown. Holbrook turtling, looking for the Sakuraba-style Kimura. Odd position on the mat. Holbrook looking for the kneebar, Ramsey defends with the other leg. One minute in. Holbrook tries another kneebar, then switches to a heel hook.
