UFC Fight Night 71 payouts and salaries: Frank Mir breaks the bank with $200,000 payday

UFC Fight Night 71 fighter payouts and salaries for the athletes who competed at the "Mir vs. Duffee" FOX Sports 1-televised event last Wednesday (July 15, 2015) inside Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, Calif., were released earlier today by California State Athletic Commission (CSAC).

Former two-time Heavyweight champion, Frank Mir, was the top earner of the night, raking in a cool $200,000 (no win bonus) for his destruction of Todd Duffee in the main event that lasted less than 90 seconds (video here).

For his effort, Duffee earned $12,000.

Josh Thomson was the next highest earner, collecting $85,000 in defeat. Tony Ferguson -- the man who carved up "The Punk" -- earned himself $60,000, which included a $30,000 win bonus (video highlights).
