Patricky Freire vs Saad Awad fight set as Bellator 141 co-main event

Bellator MMA has announced a second bout for Bellator 141: "Guillard vs. Girtz" at Pechanga Resort & Casino. And Melvin Guillard and Brandon Girtz won't be the only Lightweight standouts fighting in Temecula, Calif., on August 28, 2015.

Popular San Bernardino-based fighter Saad Awad (18-6) -- winner of three straight in the Bellator cage and the only man to hand "Ill" Will Brooks a loss -- will go toe-to-toe with Patricky "Pitbull" Freire (13-6), elder brother of Bellator's reigning Featherweight champion Patricio Freire.

Freire was last seen inside the Bellator cage at Bellator 126 in Sept. 2014, losing a unanimous decision to Marcin Held. Awad is the fresher of the two fighters in Bellator action, picking up a unanimous decision over Rob Sinclair at Bellator 136 in April.
