Bibiano Fernandes and Toni Tauru both made weight ahead of their ONE: "Kingdom of Warriors" bantamweight title match in Yangon on Saturday (July 18, 2015) with the Brazilian tipping the scales at 61.2kg and the Finnish fighter coming in at 61.1kg.
Tauru comes into the fight on a 10-fight winning streak and will have a significant advantage in terms of height as he challenges Fernandes. The champion boasts a record of 17-3 and has won nine straight fights, while the challenger boasts an overall record of 10-1-1 and currently holds the Cage Warriors bantamweight title.
The card is set for the Thuwanna National Stadium and will be the organization's first in Myanmar. The action gets underway at 6 p.m. local time and while the show isn't being broadcast live, ONE Championship aims to get the footage of the title fight online within a few hours of the event finishing.
