Newly-crowned UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor, victorious once again (video), is now ranked among the top pound-for-pound fighters in the world.
Right behind Anthony Pettis.
That's according to the latest UFC rankings update, which came on the heels of the UFC 189 pay-per-view (PPV) event last Saturday (July 11, 2015) in Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 21 Finale the following night (July 12), also in "Sin City."
Double your pleasure, double your rankings fun.
Jake Ellenberger, who got his clock cleaned by Stephen Thompson (watch it), tumbled out of the welterweight top 10, while the suspended Gilbert Melendez opened the board up for some new blood in the top 15 at lightweight, including the resurgent Dustin Poirier.
That's not all.
