If you thought having legions of raucous, boisterous Irish mixed martial arts (MMA) fans in your corner for an impending title clash was enough support then you have got another thing coming.

At least one more group is coming aboard the Conor McGregor Express.

Following a recent stop on its U2ieTour in Boston, Mass., at TD Garden -- an unofficial home-away-from-home for "Notorious" -- the immensely popular Irish rock band U2 uploaded this photo to Instagram , proclaiming its alliance with Team McGregor:

McGregor, of course, will take on Chad Mendes for the interim Featherweight title at UFC 189 TONIGHT (Sat. July 11, 2015) in Las Vegas, Nevada (more on the fight card here), only after this rib injury sustained by champion Jose Aldo.

Two of the Dublinator's most important UFC victories came in TD Garden, romps over Max Holloway in 2013 and Dennis Siver in January of this year.

Unfortunately, U2 will be unavailable to sing its native countryman down the aisle to his looming tussle with the two-time title challenger "Money." However, another Grammy award-winning musician is there to fill-in.

Sinead O'Connor recently announced she would perform for McGregor live inside MGM Grand Garden Arena. Reports say she will sing her 1995 classic, "The Foggy Dew," which is a traditional Irish ballad dating back to the 1840's.

Apparently, UFC president Dana White forgot about this little declaration.

Will McGregor be willed to win by his native countrywoman? We will not know until later tonight, Maniacs!
