Urijah Faber, a teammate of UFC 189 main event fighter Chad Mendes, took to Instagram shortly after a little scuffle with Conor McGregor backstage during the weigh-ins to take some pot shots at the Irishman.
"Looks Connor's Jr high level wrestling hasn't learned the drag re-drag drill yet. I've seen crack heads roaming the streets that look healthier than McGregor right now. @ufc @teamalphamalemma"
Ouch.
McGregor did look a little rough from the weight cut, but "Notorious" did not break his bravado routine as he faced off against Mendes a short time later.
In the Instagram video Faber can be heard responding to McGregor's "hey there, little man" hair tousling by grabbing the Irishman's sides and saying, "you going to be all right?" McGregor responds by shoving Faber like he's clinching for a takedown before the fight is broken up:
No matter how the fight goes later tonight (Sat., July 11, 2015) inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, I'm guessing this isn't the last we've seen between McGregor and Faber given "The California Kid" was last seen taking on Frankie "The Answer" Edgar at 145 pounds.
