Most Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) video promos are easy to make. All you have to do is cobble together a few seconds of footage on each fighter, then layer them over an audio loop of UFC color commentator Joe Rogan screaming "OHHHHHHH!"
Which is rapidly become the mixed martial arts (MMA) equivalent of Phil Rizzuto's "HOLY COW!"
That said, I have to imagine the production team was already piecing this one together, once word broke that reigning UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo was injured and perhaps not healthy enough to compete at the UFC 189 pay-per-view (PPV) event on July 11, 2015 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
More on that debacle here.
Fortunately, Chad Mendes was summoned as back up so that when "Junior" did throw in the towel, Conor McGregor still had a main event to show up for. In addition, "Notorious" was fortunate enough to get the promotion to agree to make his "Money" fight for the interim strap.
Even if it is "a little mean."
